The brand was selected as a “Next K-Beauty Brand” in 2020 and 2021 in collaboration with Sephora and Marie Claire.
After stepping away from his company to expand his artistic practice, he earned a Fine Art degree in Photography and Imaging from ArtCenter College of Design in 2025. He is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Photography at the Royal College of Art in London.
At the Royal College of Art, his research explores the connection between consciousness and quantum mechanics, focusing on the intersections of photography, data, and materiality within contemporary visual culture. He is actively developing a contemporary art practice that investigates how the photographic image expands beyond two dimensions, and how this expansion reshapes human perception.
